mailchimp double opt in

    I’m not sure the problem is with Oceanwp or with Mailchimp.
    My site is still in development so I have no like to share, sorry.

    But maybe you can help,
    I have your Mailchimp widget working too good. I have double opt in enable in my Mailchimp account and when signing from your widget it bypass the double opt in confirmation.
    When using different plugins it do ask for double opt in via email.

    Can you help me without sharing a link?
    I tried removing the widget and punting it back still have the same outcome.
    Created new API.
    Nothing work, your widget doesn’t care if i have double opt in, it automatically subscribe the user and with no welcome email also.

    I can give you admin access if that OK with you.

    According to mailchimp that’s just not possible:

    Opt-in settings only apply to Mailchimp signup forms, so form integrations and API opt-in are unaffected.

    This renders the email widget in OceanWP useless in the EU.
