Hello, I’m using the Mailchimp sign up block via one of the subscription forms in the Template Library. I have the api key installed and the audience is synced successfully. When I fill out the form with a new email everything works as expected. When I fill out the form as a user who is already subscribed to that list it shows the confusing error message “400: Your merge fields were invalid.” Just wanted to suggest that it show an error message like “Already subscribed.” so the user doesn’t think the form integration itself is broken. Great plugin, thanks so much! Please let me know if I can assist with troubleshooting.

    Hi @capsid,
Could you please navigate to Mailchimp account > Audience > Settings > Audience fields and *|MERGE|* tags and make sure the Birthday field is not selected https://prntscr.com/18qgglh Let me know if it is helpful?

Hi Dmytro, I have confirmed that the Birthday field is not selected. https://imgur.com/GdBRI3k

I still receive the same error when I press Subscribe “400: Your merge fields were invalid.”

    Hi @capsid,
Are those all the fields that are captured on the screenshot or there are some other ones that are marked as required?
Could you please submit a request to our support team to investigate it further?

Hi! Yes, the fields in the screenshot are the only ones required. Ok, I’ll file a support ticket. Thanks for your help!
