Mailchimp API error

    Hi,

    I just noticed that our newsletter subscription forms don’t work anymore: user only get the error message on the from end.

    It seems that Mailchimp dropped lists support, for segements and tags.
    Therefore, our lists disappeared, and we only have a single segment from now on.

    I ticked the list in the form setting, and saved, hoping it would solve the problem, but when I give it a new try, your plugin logs only mention “Mailchimp API error:”, without more information, and I get nothing from the server logs.
    I also tried to add a tag, with no more luck.

    My API key is valid.

    Any idea what’s going wrong?

    Not many answers here lately… Obviously, I’m not the only one facing this issue. Are you still maintaining this plugin, or should I just consider looking for an other one?

    I apologize for the delay in replying.

    Please note that the API error is not related to lists/segments. Can you please go to the “Mailchimp for WP > Others” menu in your WordPress admin and share with us any errors listed there? You can use a service like pastebin.com to share the error log instead of posting it in this forum.

    Any thoughts, or ideas to investigate the issue? In the meantime, we can’t collect contacts anymore :/

    Hey! Sorry for the late notice, but yes. We finally realized that a custom control on the list name was the problem. When audiences were launched, the list name has been changed, missing the text to be find to satisfy the control. Adding that text again to the audience name solved the issue.
    Nothing wrong with your plugin then.

    Well, it won’t be of any help. The problem occured because of a custom control, which we used to dispatch users among different lists, based of the list names.

    Nothing to do with your plugin.
