  • Same here. Want to connect Woocommerce store to Mailchimp to add coupons to a message. API on WP backend is fine, but Mailchimp keeps “Waiting for Connection”.

    Thanks for helping.

I have same issue as JessGOM: “I am trying to connect mailchimp to woocommerce. I have added my api key and its showing as connected on the woocommerce side. On the Mailchimp side its showing as not connected.”

Did anybody find solution? Jess, did you resolve?

I should add I’m using the “Mailchimp for WordPress” plugin since the “Mailchimp for WooCommerce” plugin wasn’t connecting. I also saw that the “Mailchimp for WooCommerce” plugin is untested with current version of WordPress.

Get on the mailchimp website and click to chat with them. I had someone help me for two hours yesterday and finally got it to work. They pull up the exact screen for you to go to and work on so I don’t know exactly how to navigate mailchimp to be able to explain what we did and how to get there.
The chat box appeared when I was building an embedded form.
Sorry I can’t walk you through it exactly, but I had tried everything else and this worked! Best of luck everyone!

Same issue here. We can see ‘Connected’ message on WordPress side, but on Mailchimp the Connected Sites page just hangs with the message ‘Waiting for Connection’. Very frustrating. We will chase up with Mailchimp as suggested.

Only version 2.1.11 works fine, now. I get the same error with all proceeding versions including the latest 2.1.15.

Hopefully there is a fix, soon.

@kingyyyy @gillyfleur @lucidblooms @rrnewmed @tetsuromiyazaki we just released v2.1.17. It included updates around the initial syncing of products along with other improvements. Will you give it a try and see if that fixes the problem you all were experiencing? We look forward to hearing back from you.
