    Hi guys,

I have just installed Kadence to create my woocomerce mails. My previous mail templates were not supported in Woocommerce 4.0.
All seems to be working but I always do a mail-tester test to see the results.
I used the “Send Preview Email”-function to do this.
There are a few items that could use improving for me:

    1) Facebook.png, instagram.png and link.png don’t have an alt defined (icons in footer)

    2) The body gives a -3 score because it states: “1 dagerous element (e.g. javascript, iframes, etc) is found during the analysis of your mail”.
    Details: <script type="application/ld+json">{"@context":"https:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Order","url":"https:\/\/baniwafels.be\/mijn-account\/view-order\/9318\/","orderStatus":"https:\/\/schema.org\/OrderProcessing","orderNumber":"9318","orderDate":"2020-04-08T18:25:31+00:00","acceptedOffer":[{"@type":"...

    3) Message only has text/html MIME parts

Do you know any way to fix this? I really don’t like my mail ending up in spam as we get a lot more calls if this happens.

    Thanks!

  • Hey,
    1. I just updated and added alt text for those.

    2. That is output by woocommerce core, it’s the schema and I would guess your mail tester is showing you a false error on this. If you want to remove you would need to add code to change how woocommerce works.

    3. In your woocommerce settings > emails, you can edit the emails and change the type from HTML to multipart to enable plain text along with your html. Fair warning though this plugin doesn’t edit plain text emails.

    I hope that helps!

    Hey Ben,

Thanks! Yea I suspected that it had something to do with woocommerce.

Translating the messages is working fine with WPML strings. The only items I am not finding is the additional field in the mails.

    Hey,
The additional field is a core woocommerce string, it’s not in our plugin, our plugin just exposes the settings that are already shown in the woocommerce > settings > emails page, just click to edit an email.

So your woocommerce for WPML plugin should be responsible to expose those strings for translation to WPML.

    I hope that makes sense.

    Hey Ben,

It makes total sense. I have found the solution for it now. Didn’t know it was a woocommerce thing :).

    Thanks!
