mail set-up, new & clueless, Please Help

  • Hi, I’m hoping someone will please help. I have a few questions about email/contact info here.

    1. Where do I find the address I’m supposed to use?
    2. Where do I input that address?
    3. How/where do I check for messages/mail?

    I know these are really basic questions and I feel silly asking them, but I want to make sure I’m doing things right w/o experimenting – that method has not been working well for me lately.

    OK, I think I found the address I’m supposed to use and where to put it in the theme I’m using, but where do I check for messages? Is there a link or a tutorial for beginners on this topic?

    The link on that page will send an email to an email address you specify. (Right now there is no address at all.) You would get email at that address just the way you would get email from anybody else.

    Your email address goes right after the ‘mailto:’ and inside the double quote in the following piece of text:
    <a href="mailto:">Send us mail!</a>

    Maybe your theme has a user friendly configuration mechanism for adding the address. I don’t know.
