Mail sending failed for .cloud
-
Hey!
Hoping that everything is safe and well.
We have this issue regarding a member trying to reset their password using a .cloud domain on their email. The user keep getting “The e-mail could not be sent. Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function.” message.
After much hours tracking the possible cause, we found a setting in the Postman SMTP Settings under the Message tab on Validation. It says “E-mail addresses can be validated before sending e-mail, however this may fail with some newer domains.”
When we ticked that setting and disabled validation, the email was successfully sent.
The question is is there a way we can add a .cloud validation so that the validation feature would still be enabled. We are very hesitant to turn off email validation but some members with fairly new domain might not be able to login.
Best regards and stay safe.
