Mail Question

  • I’ve searched the codex and forum, but can’t an answer I understand.

    I’m having trouble with mail. I’ve used Obfuscate to send email using the MailTo: function from my site and it works fine.

    But, when I try to use wp-email or any contact form, all the mail just ends up in a mail error log on my server.

    Do I need to go into the mail.php file and fill in personal info?

  • Hopefully not, because then you would have to fill that in with every upgrade. You should test it, though. Does that work, does it solve your mailing problem?

    (Remember to backup your files before editing them.)

    Good point, I certainly don’t want to have to do it with every upgrade.

    I think maybe I should talk to my host. Something is keeping mail from getting through.
