Mail Poet or any other email program

We are currently trying Mail Poet, but having some issues. We need a program that will let us forward emails send to us to a group of club members (a list), we also need a program that we can select 4 to 30 members into a list for some classes we put on and we have to send emails out to. Selecting 30 members by name and putting them into a new list seems to take a lot of work.
