After testing the free version I now installed the paid enterprise version

    A remark on the header

    List-Subscribe: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=subscribe>
    List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe>

    would be more useful as

    List-Subscribe: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=subscribe LIST NAME>List- Unsubscribe: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe LIST NAME>

because now we know which list the recipient wants to unsubscribe from.

My email client, if it finds the unsubscribe header, inserts a unsubscribe message as the first line and if clicked and confirmed sends an empty email to [email protected] with the subject line as defined above.

Are these List-headers really necessary? They seem to be a legacy of Mailman.
Who looks at the mail headers for List-Post and List-Help?

    Hi @antonv,

    thanks for the improvement suggestion.
We will add the list name in the subscribe/unsubscribe subjects in the next release.

The headers are defined in IETF RFC 2369, i.e. they are an internet standard, not something Mailman-specific.
