Mail doesn’t send out (does work on other site)

  • Hi,

    I’m using contact form 7 on multiple websites, with the same theme. With exactly the same settings. On this website, everything works just fine, but on this website it doesn’t send anything out. I don’t get it. I’ve checked all the settings, I had written some mail blockers in my theme functions.php to mass import users without the standard mails to go out, but that’s just for the new user notifications. The theme functions.php is an identical copy of the one that works.

    My question is; wth?

  • Do yo have the Postman plugin? If not, suggest you get it and then you can try its email setup tests and use its transcripts of SMTP sessions to diagnose where you may have an issue.

    I also have the same problem for two weeks.
    If I send the form the “hourglass” is running until captcha timeout.
    I deinstalled CF7 several times, I installed the plugins Postmaster and WP-Mail-SMTP and sendig the test mail is working. WP also send mails (if I change password for example).
    Postmaster is sending mails ans say everything is ok.

    Every settings in CF7 were fine (email adress from the same domain etc.).
    I can find different massages in web forums with the same problem. I believe the problem begin with any last CF or WP update.
    Doesn’t anyone have an idea, tip, note to solve this problem?
