• Hi, I hope somebody can give some advice. Is there a plugin which would notify a list of e-mails that a change was made on a blog. I mean any change – comments (done by WP now), new post or page, etc. – any change?

All mail plugins seem to do something more than I need or are pretty “heavy.”

I run the latest WP version (2.x.x).

    Thanks

  • in your wp admin area go to options->disucssion check “email me when comment posted”, that’s about the best you’re going to do without one of the mail plugins.

    Chradil:
I have that option checked. However, it only sends e-mails when comments are provided. When there are new posts or pages changes / issuance, nothing goes out.

I don’t mind installing an e-mail plugin. However, I wonder if there is a pretty simple one which will do what I need?
    Thanks

Can somebody help with this question?

    Thanks

    Short answer: No.
A bit longer: the search works for us the same way as for you. Based on your OP you already checked the plugins list and couldn’t find “one simple” solution. So, probably there isn’t. There are plugins to subscribe to posts, others to subscribe to comments on one single post, nothing about Pages. Pick what you need, install them, try them, work with them.

thanks, not much help, but at least I know there is nothing specifically for my need ??

simple solution, create an rss feed and subscribe to it, or require admin approval for all posts.
