Mail Client Support

  • Hello,
    I just made WP HTML Mail compatible with you plugin and had a look at the code of the emails and I see a few problems.

    1) Columns do not rearrange for mobile devices, the just get really tight and long

    2) Have you ever tested the emails across several mail clients. You can try emailonacid or something like that. There are some CSS styles that wont work in Outlook and other mail clients. (Outlook doesn’t event understand float, so the calc() function you use will probably be supported in 2035 ).
    Just imaging it’s 1990 when coding emails ??

    Thanks for the feedback.

    1) Just to make sure, are you talking about the email as it appears when you receive it, or in the email builder in the plugin admin?

    2) Thank you for the suggestions here. It’s much appreciated! We’ve definitely sent test emails across different clients, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t still things that would need to be ironed out. I definitely agree on the 1990 comment lol.
