mail after registering

  • Since I updated from 1.x to 2.017 No more emails are send after registration for Pending Review. In version 1.x the new member could not login at all until I Approved Membership.
    Even so in version 1.x new users were added to counter “Pending review (0)” in userlist.

    So I dont’t want new users to be able to login without memebership approved like it was in 1.x

    Hi @jberings,

    Can you please clarify what have you selected in “Registration options” section?
    Do you have “Require admin review or require email activation”?
    We don’t have this issue on our end and if you try to login with an inactive account the error message appears “Your account has not been approved yet”.

    This issue can be caused by some conflicts with your theme or other plugins, please try to do a conflict test so we can rule out conflicts with your theme or plugins and see if it helps. Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.
