Hey @ttc1,
Thank you for reaching out!
Currently, the item_url tag’s intended functionality is the one you described. Unfortunately, there is no method available in the free version to display the source URL. If you want to see more options about giving credits to the original author, here is a doc – https://docs.themeisle.com/article/1154-how-to-use-feed-to-post-feature-in-feedzy#custom-scenarios.
I have forwarded your suggestion as a feature request to our development team – https://github.com/Codeinwp/feedzy-rss-feeds/issues/813.
What’s next?
We’re always looking for ways to enhance the user experience, and your suggestion sounds valuable. Our product team will consider it alongside other requests and our current product roadmap.
Similar to bug reports, the product team will evaluate the impact and potential benefit of your request compared to other features and prioritize it accordingly.
Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that every feature request will be implemented or provide a specific timeframe at this point. If you have any additional details about how this feature would help you and others, feel free to share more details.
We’ll keep you updated via email if your feature request moves further in the development process. You can also check the product changelog to see future product releases and the exciting features we’re working on!
In the meantime, if you have any questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reply.
Thanks again for your feedback!
