  • @rocipo,

Client’s hosting service changed us to PHP 5.3.2.1 in attempt to get rid of this annoying problem that other plugins don’t see to be afficted by.

The 3 settings confirm as you have above. But the slashes are still there . .

Have deactivated, deleted and reinstalled but no change.

Client could work around this for now by avoiding apostrophes (!) but how to get rid of the warning notice using up valuable space on the dashboard???

I eventually chatted online with my hosting company and discovered that they had forgotten to restart the server. All of my problems went away after that.

The only thing I can suggest is move your site, try clearing your browser cache, or finding an alternative plugin. I realize that these are not handy suggestions, but I didn’t build the plugin.

I’m sorry that I can’t be of more help.

Thanks for the prompt and helpful reply.

Present hosting is very good, server restart all OK – so moving not really an option; cache cleared etc.

Ironically, Eran’s plugin is light years ahead of other Event Calendar efforts for sheer usability from our (semi-technical) client’s point of view.

It’s just frustrating that this tiny issue dims its shine – client would be happy to pay good money for it if this was ironed out.

    Cheers
