Magento on WordPress site, integration with Ogone
-
Hello James,
I’ve just started organizing events for expats in Brussels, see https://www.expatclubbrussels.com. The site is still messy and one thing that is missing is the integration of a Payment system. I just work with PayPal buttons now, but obviously not everybody likes this and it’s expensive.
I want to integrate a simple webshop platform (probably Magento, although I’m not very knowledgeable about any platform) and use the Ogone payment gateway.
On the event/trip pages I want either a link to a shop page (on WP) followed by the payment page, OR and better I want to have the shop part integrated on the event page itself. For instance, for the trip to Paris I would like to have under the last sentence in the “remarks” section an order form, which is nothing more than one line, e.g. Number of tickets + accept booking conditions + buy/continue/go button. After that people go to the next page, choose their preferred payment method etc.
What steps do I have to take? I registered for Magento and have downloaded your plugin, but I am not sure this will give me what I need. Your help is much appreciated.
Best regards,
Edgar
