Magazine Widget Showing Only Posts From Specific Author

    I’m trying to create author pages on my website. The “Magazine Posts: (Boxed)” widget is great. However I need it to show only the posts from whichever author I select. How can I accomplish this?

    To my best of knowledge I think you need a separate template page and a custom query (WP_Query) to accomplish this. Not sure about the template features but usually you have to create separate template and run queries for requirements like this.

    Thanks for using Poseidon.

    I’m sorry to tell you that the Magazine Boxed widgets do not support to select posts from a specific author, it only allows to select posts by category.

    As workaround, you can simply create an own category for each author. It might not be perfect but allows you to select posts by author then.
