I was under the impression with GPL that a user could delete footer links etc if they desired.

GPL or not, even if you do remove the link, I will not go to the justice court ??
It’s just a normal way to say “thanks for providing a free premium theme”.

You should probably take the word “Restriction” out then – make it optional, most people will leave it if it’s unobtrusively styled…

Yes, it’s not really a restriction, just something I ask, because this theme took time to develop, take time for providing free support, and is totally free to use. In my opinion, it’s a good deal.

Don’t worry about the IE6 killer, it is totally optionnal. The blogger is free to decide to use it, or not.

I looked at your personal blog (demo for the theme) — you should put in something for people with javascript disabled, because it looks like crap when it is. You know, a notice to tell you that you need it turned on to view the site, or alternative content.

A lot of Firefox users have no-script, which disables javascript by default, until a site is whitelisted.

For a guy who’s being aggressive about trying to kill IE6 (and believe me, I’m sympathetic to your goal), you should certainly try to accommodate Firefox users.

Indeed it is a good idea, I keep it in mind for next versions ??
