Magazine style Blog

I am making a theme for sale in which i am facing a problem that is that I have to make the Frontpage a magazine sorta page, with four posts called in, but i also want to add a menu item “Blog” to the menu , and upon clicking it I want it to take u to a page where all posts are shown in a regular blog like layout, how can i achieve this.
