Magazine Homepage Not Configuring Correctly

    I cannot seem to get the Magazine Newsfeed page widget thing working. Well, I can get it mostly configured, but trying to get images to load is a problem.

    I even tried using the regenerate thumbnail plugin, to no avail.

    I’ll put my website below so you can take a look at the static page as it stands currently.

    Great upon following your directions and using the regenerate thumbnail plugin, now it seems that whenever I want to make a new post and load a new featured image, same dimensions as always it now no longer displays correctly. I have deactivated and deleted the plugin and still nothing. This theme is becoming more trouble than its work. Can I really imagine your pro themes will be any better?

    I guess I will leave up a most recent post that has a lame featured image as well as the magazine homepage. I would like to try and take care of this asap, as my website looks like a POS until I can fix this stuff.

    Ever since I have been part of wp.org when I would post a featured image that was 830×430 it would display in the post as that size, and also share well on Facebook. Now, after using the stupid plugin no matter what it will crop the top and bottom of the featured image to like 880×200 or some stupid size… If that is how your theme is and the plugin rewrote all my images to be that ridiculous size, then I will need to find a new theme provider. It is like that regenerate thumb plugin went and messed everything I have done in the last month or so with getting my old posts, and most notably stupid featured images, in order, and now it might all be for nothing.

    Please help…

    Omg it is more confusing now… Some images post fine in the dimensions 830×433 and others that I also edit, resize, resave, different titles, and filetypes and nothing. But some just work and others don’t… Could it be jetpacks photon plugin?

    Apologies for the subject change, but I will troubleshoot the original problem with the magazine homepage after I solve this feature image debacle. Forgive me and bear with me. I am relatively new to wp.org

    So I will leave it as it is now, as it stands there are two identical posts, more or less, and the feature image is the same size in both, however, the one image with Morgan Freeman in is the proper display while the most recent post is not. Also, note that if you try to share the Morgan freeman post it wants to scrape a different photo entirely…

    I am completely lost on this one…

    Thanks for using zeeDynamic.

    Featured Images in WordPress always have a defined image size. The exact size is defined by the theme and therefore is different for each theme.

    You can find the image sizes of zeeDynamic on https://themezee.com/docs/zeedynamic-documentation/#specs . The theme uses a size of 820×360 which may be an unusual size for you.

    WordPress itself will generate all required image sizes each time you upload a new image. Now if you switch themes the image sizes are most likely different with the new theme. You can then use the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to re-generate all featured images for your new theme.
