magazine-basic – page format modifications

  • I love the magazine-basic theme and use it on several sites. I have now decided to combine these sites if I can.

    What I would like to do is, ideally, have certain category pages display in the same manner as the front page.

    If that can’t work, I’d like ALL secondary pages to display in the same format as the front page.

    Here is my site index page: https://machoneflying.com and here is a page that I would like to ALSO display in the same layout. https://machnoneflying.com/?cat=32

    Thanks for any help. I’ve enjoyed the theme so much I’ve donated some money.

  • I can’t say for sure that this will work, but it is easy to try and easy to undo if it fails.

    Make a copy of index.php as category.php and see if that works.

    whoops! i spoke too soon! now i have lost my ABOUT page .. will have to mess round with the templates a bit and see if I can sort it out. thanks though, a great start!
