Made a splash index.html page… deleted it… Now nothing works.

Seems like you deleted the page index.php and not index.html as per your post?

Download the WordPress files for the version you are running and simply upload the index.php file back to the root of your web tree – i.e. /home/honglebl/public_html/

Should do the trick

The index.php file is still there.

Where did you create it and delete it?

This is actually for my mother and needs help but she doesn’t speak much english. This is what happened…

She learned how to make some splash page through some internet marketing guru and uploaded some files through her cpanel which created an index.html page.

That has made every one of her pages AND posts on her original blog DEAD.

I deleted the index.html file and all other files that I assumed was associated with that internet marketer hoping that the index.php would just take over and everything would go back to normal.

But nothing works still.

I’m guessing that at some point you (or your mum) have overwritten the index.php file.

Overwrite the file with a newly downloaded copy from the same version of WP you are running. Start there and see how you get on
