• Hi. I just created a new site for some friends:

    https://theaccomplices.net

It’s based on a theme called fspring by the great Fahlstad (https://www.fahlstad.se/). It looks swell in Safari on the Mac, but it’s a total disaster and unviewable on IE or Netscape for Mac.

I looked at a couple sites with CSS bugs for Mac IE. Frankly, I was overwhelmed. I just couldn’t even begin to trace the causes. There seemed to be so many potential bugs.

If anyone has a clue how I could fairly easily fix this problem, I’d be grateful. Possibly through some re-direct code I could add to my CSS?

I really don’t want to switch my theme and start over, as I’m pretty happy with the site.

  • For what it is worth, it looks fine/consistant with IE7 beta3, FF 1.5.04 and Opera 9 on Windows XP and Opera 9, FF 1.5.0.4 from xubuntu.

Not sure how much sleep I’d lose if it doesn’t look good in IE 5 on Mac (as that’s a dead-end product). What version of Netscape?

Not sure about the version of Netscape. An early one, for sure, as one of the guys in the band is still using (shudder) Netscape on OS 9. I know that’s even more of a dead end, but I don’t want to exclude any old school Mac users, since I was one for a long time! ??

Oh, and it not only doesn’t look good on Mac IE, it doesn’t look period. It’s just a blank page with a header. No text, no images, no nothing.
