M4wp form ignoring double opt-in settings in Mailchimp

    Hi

    I have the same problem as the gentleman is this topic. I’m not using Ninjaforms though. I’m just using the m4wp form directly as shortcode.

    So, with me also, in Mailchimp I have the list settings and defaults set to both double opt-in and Welcome email. But then when I want to sign up an email, it gets added to the list directly. No opt-in email, leave alone welcome email.

    Looking at the thread I linked to, it is set to resolved despite the OP mentioning he doens’t know where to find the dev version on github. I also can’t find it.
    I did however try the current .zip file from the master branch (updated 7days prior to this writing) and used it to reinstall but problem persisted.

    Then I went and looked at the releases and downloaded and installed 4.2…. Also no result.

    Really looking forward to your suggestions.

    With our plugin you set double opt-in per form, under the form settings, via MailChimp for WP > Form > Settings or MailChimp for WP > Integrations > Your integration.

    Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, seems like I missed that one setting where you have to manually confirm the double optin in the plugin itself.

    Did the trick!
