m3u8 fails to play

I have a JWPlayer account and using the plugin I can play video from JWPlayer just fine. Now I am trying to add a live stream from AWS Interactive Video Service which serves up an m38u hls file.
It works on the steam test page just fine

but when I add the url at the bottom of the page and insert the shortcode I get nothing on the wordpress page.

EDIT:
I failed to mention that the page shows no errors just the circle in the player indicating that it is loading video. Same result in Chrome and Firefox
