    Hi there,
When all visitors/ guests click on CUTOMISE button -the ecard maker is just stuck on ‘Initializing…’ it simply does not load. On inspecting I realised this is a 403 Forbidden error for my Lumise editor – ecard maker.

We tried with all products on ecard- it is for each ecard, but sharing this link for example: https://happyinvites.co/product-category/festivals/sunderkand-invitation/

Please note when anyone logs in or creates an account and then customised then the Ecard maker launches instantly. But if someone is a guest/ visitor then it is stuck at Initializing – 403 Forbidden error – this is suddenly happening since 4-5 days.

After contacting alot of plugin developers I realised this could be a Wordfence activity blocking. Please help, we are loosing so much business.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Thanks for reaching out.

When I look at the browser console as I click the customize button I see a POST error with this this URL
    https://happyinvites.co/wp-content/plugins/lumise/core/assets/js/jquery.min.js?version=1.9.8
There could be something going on with the Lumise plugin but I’m leaning towards a firewall block too.

Have you tried putting the firewall into Learning Mode (Wordfence > Firewall > Manage WAF page)? ONce you do, try clicking the Customize button (as a guest, naturally) and see if it allows you do so. If it does, try it a few more times, and then put the firewall back into Enabled and Protecting mode. Then try it again. Learning Mode should add the action to the allowlist so it isn’t blocked anymore.

Let me know if this helps.

    Hello Tim,
Thank you so much for your prompt response. As you suggested I tried Firewall in Learning Mode – unfortunately no difference. Still stuck at ‘Initializing…’ in Guest/Visitor mode.

Can I request you to check & inspect the error after you click on CUSTOMISE
    i.e. this link:
    https://happyinvites.co/design-editor/?product_base=70&product_cms=19207
    – as that is the main pain area, one last check from your end please.

if still it doesnt work, will need to simply give up, as the Lumise Plugin developers are not replying.

Kindly let me know if there is something you could find. thanks a lot.

I apologize for missing the response. I tried Googling around to see if I could find any other references to the problem and couldn’t find any reference to it. Even when I searched just for “Lumise Ecard Maker” I didn’t get anything. If the developers there won’t answer I’m not sure that sticking with the plugin/product is the best solution. I mean the error is clearly saying that something in their plugin is missing or unable to run so it stands to reason that they would be the ones to ask. If they have any support forums you might try searching them for these terms
    failed to load
    “lumise=ajax”
Hopefully that would turn up the issue if someone had it before.

I wish I was able to help more, but this really seems to not be Wordfence related. Of course we are always happy to look.

    Hello Tim,
Thank you so much for the help. That is very kind of you to search for other errors, all I wanted to make sure was that the 403 Forbidden error : failed to load
“lumise=ajax” wasn’t due to the Wordfence, but since that is not the case, I will continue asking the developers plus checking compatibility with other plugins.
Thank you so much again for the time & the response, you may close the ticket as it is not relevant to this. Appreciate your support & assistance.
