<ul></ul> validation error

  • After validation on the W3 site I receive an error that in the sidebar there is an
    <ul></ul>
    with nothing between it. I suppose that means an empty line. I use the sidebar widget and suppose that this generates somewhere an empty line. How do I get rid of that empty space? My site is at https://www.astroblogs.nl
