• Hi,

I’m using WooCommerce and LiteSpeed cache. I have the widget mini cart on my left menu and the cart is cached. When I’m adding a product to the cart it stays empty. Even more, when I’m adding a product to my cart, there is an automatic cart preview sliding from the right that says : Cart is empty. It’s working if I’m disabling LsCache.

I’ve tried to add RewriteRule .* – [E=Cache-Vary:woocommerce_cart_hash] in my htaccess and also woocommerce_items_in_cart in cookie exclusions from LS cache but doesn’t work.

I’ve seen a lot of topics about this issue, but the given solutions are the htaccess ans the cookie exclusion.

Is anyone having an idea how to fix that ?

  • Hi there @yoanngadon,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I understand you’re experiencing a caching issue with your WooCommerce mini cart and LiteSpeed cache, and you’ve already tried some good troubleshooting steps, but unfortunately, these steps didn’t work.

Instead, you might want to try excluding the entire cart and checkout pages from being cached in your LitesSpeed cache settings.

If that doesn’t work, I’d recommend reaching out directly to their support, as this is a third-party plugin and we only provide support for the WooCommerce core plugin.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply, I just tried this article https://wp-rocket.me/wordpress-cache/cache-plugin-for-woocommerce/#:~:text=To%20exclude%20cookies%20from%20the,wp_woocommerce_session to exclude from cache few woocommerce cookies, but still doesn’t work

    Bets regards

    Hi @yoanngadon,

Thanks again for getting back to us on this.

Were you able to reach out to their support team as earlier suggested? If not, here’s a direct link.

You can also find more details on how to configure caching plugins for WooCommerce, but please note that LiteSpeed cache is also not included in the shared blog post.

I post a topic on their forum, we’ll see, I’ve used this link to apply the cookie exclusion rules, I think they work even tough this plugin is not included in the post, cookies are cookies …

Maybe someone got the same issue and found a solution ?

    Hello Yoann

    Thank you for your reply.

Could you please tell me more about the Mini Cart widget?
Is it a part of a theme or a plugin? Sharing screenshots will be helpful.

In my experience, I have seen many themes and plugins that offer the Mini Cart feature and it is not affected by the LiteSpeed cache.

Are the pages like Cart and Checkout affected by the LS cache?
This information will help determine how LS behaves overall with the website.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Best regards.
