LP will not let me add answers to questions on quiz

I have tried this in a testing environment without plugins (and with default theme) and I am facing the same issue.

Adding a “new answer” merely shows the loading sign repeatedly. They will never save or update for any question type.

This happens on both the main “quiz” page and when going into a question directly.

I also tried another browser, and it did not work.
