Lower the password strength to 8 character

Neither the plugin or WordPress uses character count for account passwords, though it plays a factor. Instead, both use a password tool called zxcvbn – you can read more about how password strength is determined in the documentation here.

You could likely add some customization to set a minimum password length, but it would work counter to how this plugin works.
