Guys, just quick question –?I activated Compilanz plugin and set all the necessary (setup guide in the plugin is fantastic btw ??). Compilanz detected all the cookies, but when is plugin turned on, I got almost 40 % traffic drop in Google Analytics visits (normally we have about 300 users online, but when I activate Compilanz, it drops to number about 170 users online). When I turn off plugin, traffic return to normal numbers.

I am using Monster Insights Pro plugin, which Compilanz detected. In the website popup we have only “Accept” and “Cookie Settings” buttons, no “Deny” button at all (so users can deny the cookies only if they go to Cookie settings.

Do you have any idea, why this with traffic happening? And is there any way (I know, it is against the policy) how to let Monster Insights working if reader denied the cookies? I mean if I can completly remove the control of Monster Insights from Complianz?

    Hi @jerrry,

It sounds like you’re now asking consent for Google Analytics, which can cause the drop in statistics.

You could try disabling the MonsterInsights integration, and in the wizard go to Consent – Statistics -> Answer Google Analytics, check the 3 checkboxes. Then proceed to Statistics – Configuration

    – Don’t Ask for Consent
    – Don’t let Complianz add Analytics.

    This should do it,

    regards Aert
