Wondering if something isn’t working correctly here. Looking at how I have this configured:

    2020-08-27_09-28-31
    2020-08-27_09-31-49

I’m wondering why when I have ‘out of stock threshold’ enabled at 5, why on the front end it’s still showing items that are 5 or less as still being in stock. Shouldn’t it say out of stock once it hits 5? We’re trying to create a buffer so we don’t accidentally sell an item that we don’t have.

The tile should read ‘Out of Stock Threshold’ not working. Not low stock. fixed it.

    Hi @pogle

Do you happen to have stock management enabled at the product level with different settings like this? Screenshot: https://d.pr/i/zCiYRa

Hy m155y5, currently no, it’s a variable product but this is how it’s set up:
    2020-08-27_10-19-47

Do I need to have that checked?

    Hey there @pogle,

    > Do I need to have that checked?

No, the variation stock should be sufficient to show Out of Stock when the threshold is reached. I just tested this on my own site, and the out of stock threshold works as expected for variations (threshold = 2, variation stock = 1, shows out of stock on product page).

In the above example, where it shows 1 in stock—what is the current level of the variation stock? According to the settings you have at WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Inventory, you should have 6 in stock:

6 – 5 (out of stock threshold) = 1 showing in stock on the front end

I don’t understand where you see the 6 number from?

we have more than that for the other variation: https://www.screencast.com/t/N7FSzsBk0v7

1 in stock with that particular color temperature, and 376 in stock of the other color temperature.

    Hi there @pogle,

Where is the stock being managed for the variation you’re working on? What is entered for “Stock Quantity” in the product variation?

Also, what version of WooCommerce is running on the site?

I think I got this resolved. It seemed to be associated with another plugin I was using for inventory management.

How did you solved It? I’m having the same problem! The out of stock threshold only works for product level, but not for variation level.
