Low quality Gravatar avatars remain despite plugin updates
-
I see in the changelog that the issue with low-quality avatars was supposed to be resolved in 2.2.16, however I still have low-quality images when a user is using their Gravatar (which was not an issue in previous versions) even if updating to the newest ProfilePress version (3.1)
I’m wanting to actually revert to 2.2.16 to keep the simple version of the plugin, but regardless, even with 3.1 currently installed, the Gravatar avatars are low quality. This is if using the [avatar] shortcode, or if displaying the avatar by means other than the ProfilePress “full” profile shortcode.
Is there some kind of cache I need to clear out to restore the Gravatar image quality? It seems to be affecting even other plugins displaying Gravatars. Again, this is regardless of using 3.1 or 2.2.16, and was not an issue in previous versions of this plugin. If I upload the same image directly to the site that I use for my Gravatar, the quality is resolved. But if I remove it, thus defaulting to my Gravatar (which is what I have set as default for new users), it’s highly degrading the Gravatar image quality.
Thank you!
