• No problem with Safari, Firefox, IE10 but in IE8 the page names/links are indistinct against the brown ribbon across the top of the page. Would appreciate input on any code changes required given the prevalence of IE8. Thanks.

    … is probably in the eye of the beholder, right? Depends on the context, your site visitors, maybe country or segment of population, etc.

    Just noting we support IE9 and up for these themes, but it shouldn’t be too hard to make a fix. If you find the solution, please post here for anyone else who’d like to apply it to their version.

    Guess so. I’m thinking conservative corporate Windows, which is where my client (my daughter) works! Having spent hours scanning forums and trying conditional comments, IE7 emulation etc to no avail I’m done. Have logged with Automattic but they promise a response “within weeks”. Enough. There’s more to life. I think.
