Love this plugin. Having an issue with crops sometimes not sticking

  • I use this plugin on multiple sites and really appreciate it.

    Right now I’m having a problem with certain crops not ‘taking’ in a site. They show correctly in the plugin interface, the message confirming they’re saved appears, and then they revert when the page is published.

    The issue is inconsistent, but occurring enough to be a problem. I’ve just seen it happen with two photos that won’t crop to their correct single story page size. One was fixed, mysteriously, by deleting and reimporting the photo and reapplying the crops. The other stubbornly refuses to be corrected. The images are jpg files, nothing unusual about them.

    Any advice gratefully received.

    can you try v1.08? It should have more descriptive error messages.

    Hi Tomasz. Thanks for answering.

    We are running version 1.08.

    We don’t get any error messages at all. Some of the crops — especially the featured image — are also vertically stretched so they are visibly out of proportion.

    We are using the popular Enfold theme, version 2.9.2
