Love This Plugin

  • I’ve paid for plugins like this in the past but Shortcode Ultimate has more features and is easier to use than most so called premium plugins.

    I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars because of the popup review/social share message. I’ve used this plugin on client sites before and the popup is confusing to clients.

  • I totally agree, it is highly irritating. Next time I will mark it as SPAM. There should be a way of disabling the popup. Great plugin though.

    But that popup review/social share message appears only in the backend, right?

    Right, but if you make a website for a client you’re likely going to give them access to the admin area of the website. When you do, sometime in the future they get popup from someone they never heard of and don’t know about. Some people think the site has been hacked.

    Couldn’t you remove that portion from the code?

    @eisb, your suggestion is what I’m going to do when I use this plugin on future client websites.

    However, it’s not a perfect solution because the plugin get’s updated often which means the website developer will have to hack the code every time the plugin gets updated.
