Love the plugin, but the quantity is sometimes wrong

    Hello
    I have been using your plugin for several years now. It works really well, so thank you for a good job!

    Please note that sometimes, I notice the quantity of items ordered is listed as “2” instead of “1”.

    I have checked that only one instance of GA is running on my site.

    Any other ideas on how to debug this?

    Thanks for the kind words.

    The order is also getting duplicated?

    You might need to look at the browser pattern in such orders. A long back we found an issue with Safari browser that when someone orders and leave the browser on mobile then when again comes back on safari browser and on the same thankyou page the duplicate hit used to happen.

    However, since then we haven’t got any such issue. Probably you could share some more specific instances and based on that I could suggest further.

    The order is not getting duplicated. However, the quantities (in only some of the orders, not all oders) are in accurate.

    For example, I noticed that the quantity of an order from yesterday showed “3” when it was actually just “1”.

    Is there a debug setting for the plugin so we can print debug statements using console.log ?

    Could you share that order’s thank you url? The reason for this is that we can hit the url and see in dataslayer extension the data being pushed. Hopefully, it would give us an answer for the problem.

    Thank you for the awesome support. Here is one of the Order Thank You URL:

    This particular order, reported quantities of 3 instead of 1 for the 2 items that were ordered. So total quantity shows 6 instead of 2.
