I would like to let you know that this is a great plugin, thank you very much for making it available. I had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. Also love the way it does not come with a huge default css file that you have to wade through to customise, so it’s really easy to style the output for your own needs.

One thing I would suggest is to make the plugin installation guide available within WordPress Admin once activated. I almost never look at the Installation tab on the actual plugin page as it usually just says “download and unzip” ?? This meant I was confronted with only the request for ClientID etc. on the settings page and it took me a while to figure out how to find this information. Once I found the documentation it was easy-peasy though.

Couple of feature requests as you seem to be doing a new release:
    1) Ability to hotlink at least username, if not actual photo, as Instagram now has web profile pages. This would be a good way of giving credit to photos that are not your own, and to publicise your own feed.
    2) Possibility of increasing the limit of photos to 20 (or more). I don’t know if this would put too much strain on server, however. Perhaps if this many they could be displayed as smaller thumbnails, like Instagram itself?

Anyway, just some thoughts… Thanks again for the plugin.

    Hi

And thank you for your appreciations and your feedback. We’ll try to integrate the installation guide maybe in the plugin’s settings page.

    About your feature requests:

    1. We’ll implement this in our next releases

    2. We’ll research on this and we’ll try to increase this limit

Great! For the installation, just a link or even a plain text reference to where you can find the info would be really helpful I think (for stupid people like me!).
Look forward to the next release ??

    Hi Seemap,

Thanks for the great review by the way!

We’re pleased to have included (among others) the following features in today’s ‘Easy Instagram’ release (v1.2.3):

    * An update to the new Help/Installation tab for the ‘Easy Instagram’ page under Settings in your WordPress CMS menu
    * Photo author’s displayed usernames now link to their profile on Instagram

And we’ve included increasing the photo display limit on our feature development list for possible inclusion in future versions.

Thanks so much for the teamwork,
    VeloMedia

Wow, that was a fast and very positive response! I’ve just installed the update, it seems to be working well with the profile link. Thank you ??

For the photo display limit, it would great even if you could increase it just to 12, rather than 10 – this number works well with responsive grid style displays (as you get even rows of 1, 2, 3, 4) and should not add too much extra load time.
