• I read through the reviews dozens of times before purchasing, but now I am so dependent on this plugin!

    How I’m using it
I just finished running a sale using one of the BOGO options. I’m in a niche where my competition is other small businesses selling digital products. Sales like this are making it so easy (and fun) to differentiate myself. I’ve seen competitors offer BOGO sales, but they usually provide the free portion after the fact. The user has to reach back out to them after buying the main product or the user has to wait for a post-purchase email that contains a link or coupon code for the free product. Both require additional work & patience from the customer.

A lot of times other shops will also bundle the products into one purchase, so they can offer BOGO deals. (I’ve done this one too, but it required a lot of additional work from me to create this additional listing & it isn’t as exciting for the customer because they don’t see “free” in the cart).

During my recent sale, all my customer had to do was put the main product in their cart, then the plugin added the free item & coupon code to their cart. It was so easy for my customers & left them feeling excited about spending money in my shop! (<–and isn’t that the goal?).

I’ve also been offering store credit as a bonus to my subscribers who buy through my affiliate links. Others in my niche offer coupon codes as bonuses, so this is another way I’m able to set myself apart. Unlike coupon codes, the subscriber gets to keep the balance in their account if they don’t spend it all & I allow them to use credit with other coupon codes. They love it and I’ve gotten so much positive feedback about this!

    The customer service.
Because I frequently share affiliate links with my subscriber and I primarily offer store credit as a bonus, I’m somewhat dependent on the store credit function. (Note: In my niche, people share A LOT of affiliate links and bonuses are expected. If you don’t offer bonuses, you probably won’t get affiliate sales.)

I ran into an issue with the store credit function. I couldn’t add credit to anyone’s account. It did take a couple of days of back & forth emails to resolve it, but this was because of the significant time zone difference. I would reply to their emails as my day was ending & they’d reply back while I was sleeping. I read a review here with a U.S. user who was very critical of “response time” because of their location; but, the world isn’t based in the U.S. and not all businesses run 24/7. This isn’t a service issue! (They were EXTREMELY responsive to me within their business hours.)

And, yes! I was nail biting and feeling impatient. It did impact my ability to make money (which speaks to the value of the plugin’s abilities!) to have it down for a few days.

The issue was caused by a different plugin. Not only did customer service get in there and actively help me resolve it, but they provided helpful suggestions/tips along the way. And when my technical knowledge was lacking, they kindly educated me. Since the issue was caused by a different plugin, they really could have just told me the issue and left me to go fix it on my own. They went above & beyond.

Excellent plugin! Excellent service! Thank you!

@rebeccab1231 this is possibly the most detailed and amazing review we’ve had on a product of ours here. Really appreciate you taking the time to give detailed feedback and tell everyone about your experience using Advanced Coupons.

Really love that you’re getting value out of the store credits feature in particular, we’ve worked really hard on bringing that up to standard!
