Wouldn’t you know, I wrote a long overdue review of GWADP, only to find just days later that it had been acquired by Exact Metrics, owners of MonsterInsights, which I detest.
Well, fortunately I haven’t (yet) had the new update harm any of the 70 sites I manage, however, I really loved the old GWADP. As others have said, it was lightweight and full featured and free. Now the updated interface is sleek, but we’re not getting as much functionality as we did when the plugin was under its previous ownership. I think Exact Metrics must have made the GWADP developer an offer they couldn’t refuse when people like me kept moving sites off Monster Insights and back/over to GWADP because MI made you pay for the plugin just to be able to see your stats on the WP admin dashboard and GWADP did not. Now where do we go for a decent Google Analytics plugin? Nightmare.-

. Reason: The previous version of my review was for the plugin under ists origiinal owner. Now that it's been acquired by a new owner things have changed and NOT for the better
