Since the latest update, Lottie animations in place using Elementor page builder are not displaying correctly, and instead show the default placeholder Elementor lottie animation.

This has occurred on multiple websites and i’ve narrowed it down to Litespeed Cache causing the issue. The issue occurs on the ‘Basic’ and ‘Advanced’ presets, but when changing to ‘Essentials’, the issue is resolved. We usually use the ‘Advanced’ preset, so it would be great if this issue could be addressed so that we can switch back to that.

    Thanks

    Hello

Changing presets will disable/enable some settings(see description for each of them).
    You can:
    – disable LTS and see if the problem persist OR visit the site with parameter: /?LSCWP_CTRL=before_optm will disable LTS output and see the page without optimizations.
    – try to think which plugins/changes were done on site before seeing the error
    – go to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=litespeed-page_optm setting page and try to disable/enable one by one especially CSS and JS optimization. Rembember to clear cache after each setting changed.

    Please keep me updated.
    Thank you,
    Tim

Im having the same problem on multiple sites, all Lottie Animations with Elementor is only displayed with the Elementor Lottie Placeholder as long as the page is cached. If I exclude the page from being cached, the Lottie Animation works just fine with and displays the Lottie I have uploaded.

I understand that LTS is creating your errors, but there are settings that you can tweak and make the site work.
Maybe other plugins changed and need a few settings tweaks.

Can you send me a report number so I can have a few info about the site?
Reports can be created in LTS -> Toolbox -> Report -> click “send to LiteSpeed” and tell me the code.

    Waiting for details from you.

Lottie animation seems to be a paid feature. Apologize we can’t provide quick solution for that, as we tried to contact Elementor team to get a developer license for compatibility development since Sep/2020. However we never get a quality feedback. The only thing we got is “I don’t have any ETA on when it will be addressed or a fix released, but I believe, this should be resolved in one of the upcoming updates.” from their tier 3 support team.

At this moment, we have to get more info to better debug this issue. A ticket will be helpful.

The fix is in v6.2.0.1 which will release soon. Please try 6.2.0.1 in Beta Test and let us know if that works or not.
