You WILL lose money with chargebacks & stuff.

They do not provide 3D secure to check credit cards, until after you have been “chargeback” by the company, to push you into paying extra for the 3D, then they will then check 10k credit cards on your website after you buy 3D plan, charging you $0.02 a piece. I recommend you go with a different company, that has been around longer, and didn’t just shoot up into the ranks by scamming their own customers. PayPal actually has Braintree, and has been around, not needing to scam or charge extra for 3D secure.

I don’t see any difference from a racketeer, and you will probably be able to join a class action against this company.

Note: There is no way to contact a human, from the backend dashboard, unless you “pay” for that also. lolol, but most likely still won’t get contact support. Just go look at their BBB.org profile, 1.05/5 Stars, it’s a straight scam to play people. They will allow people to buy many items from your store, and if one does chargeback, they will refund everyone, with lots of cases over $10k online.

    THINK TWICE, LOOK AT REVIEWS.

    Hi there,

Thanks for the review. I can understand your concern here.

Stripe WooCommerce extension supports 3D secure. It is supported since version 4.2.0 of the Stripe extension. You can learn more about it here: https://woocommerce.com/posts/introducing-strong-customer-authentication-sca/

Please note that 3D secure is a feature that needs to be enabled by the card issuer/banks in order to add an extra layer of authentication before validating a payment. It is not something that can be “forced” from the Stripe extension.

If the card/bank the customer is transacting from requires 3D Secure authentication, only in that case Stripe extension will show the 3D secure authentication modal.

Regarding support, we provide support for this extension on the forum and also from the Woo.com support channel; you can always open a new support request at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket

I know what 3D secure is, and every single payment provider online provides it free of charge, like PayPal, Square, Braintree, but when it comes to Stripe, they don’t provide it for free so a seller will most likely have issues when the “card” entered by the buyer is not verified. I find it really shady that this is one of the only company that makes you pay for it, and not as a “standard” to keep your sellers in business and on your platform. It seems like they’re set up to make a mistake, a costly one, that you’ll be making money off of.

    Hi there,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Please note that we do not have any control over the pricing structure offered by Stripe. Our extension solely provides integration with the Stripe platform. If you have any concerns or feedback regarding the pricing structure, we recommend reaching out to Stripe support at the following link:
