• Positives

The plugin itself does what it says. It’s pretty intuitive which makes it a breeze to post recipes. I like the added nutritional info section, it looks neat when you put the data in. I haven’t experienced any major issues and I’ve been using it for almost a year. Overall it looks good visually as well.

    Negatives

SEO-wise it’s pretty weak and customer support is virtually non-existant. There are some basic features that it’s missing (Can’t add anything more than a number under “servings”.. most recipe plugins will allow you to put in yield, such as 1 cup etc but not this one)

I thought by investing in the pro I would get some level of support but they either ignore your questions or respond in a manner that’s not helpful (saying they’ll pass on to developers etc..) They also have a support forum, but they don’t respond there either so what’s the point? I’ve also seen them asking a user to remove their negative review and only then would they help.. not sure how I feel about that.

I had one basic request regarding how the plugin crops images but it wasn’t resolved in almost a year… pretty disappointed.

Overall, I think there are better recipe plugins out there with better support and better features. I’d recommend the free version – but I don’t think the added “support” you get with Pro is worth it.
