Lots of questions with FSE

    Hi!

    I’m a newbie with FSE wordpress.
    I tried your theme, with greenshift and woocommerce, but i cant find lots of basic options.
    Example: Where can i change the default body with? I cant find in FSE, or customize page.

    I tried to put woocommerce minicart into a greenshift popup button block, but not working. (not working without button block too!) It said deleted or not compatible the minicart. ??

    I can see you have a “frontpage” option in theme editor (what is beta yet). So if i make in pages a “home” page, and set the default it in setting > Reading, it will be not my blank home page. It will be your “frontpage” from theme editor. But i cant delete it. ??
    And i cant find any conditions options in theme editor (page or template parts too…)

    @malaga16 FSE themes are not working like Classic, so everything you know about classic usage of wordpress has difference in FSE.

    Settings – reading will not work. You need to use Appearance – Site editor to change look of regular pages. If you want to change look of Homepage, you need to click on Frontpage and edit it. You don’t need to create page, then, select it in settings. Just edit directly in Site editor. Currently, wordpress has no option to make variations for Templates, but it will be in future.

    Minicart – As I remember, minicart block is not ready in Woocommerce, but they want to add it in upcoming update. And it’s better to use it with Greenshift Sliding panel block.

    FSE currently a bit experimental, it’s more for business pages and landings, magazines. For shop – it has quite basic usage, but Woocommerce team is working hard to implement all power of Gutenberg. As I know, product builder will be available. So, follow our updates. I think we need to make social group for FSE but currently I don’t know which social platform to choose. I don’t like Facebook, it’s ugly. Do you have suggestions?

    Fisrt, i think if you hate FB for community, you can try out the Discord platform. Its free and has app, but you can use it in webrowser too if you want. ??

    Sencod, i think i understand everything that you said, only i cant find where can i change the default theme body width. ??

    It’s in theme.json file, but wordpress doesn’t have option to edit this width in current point. Anyway, if you use Greenshift compatible page builder (or any other), you can place Row block or Container block and add width which you need. Also, all group blocks in editor has option to set width of content. So, simply edit page, open root Group container and you will find width settings in it
