Lots of problems!

I have been experiencing lots of problems that no one that I am working with can fix! I had to clean out my site due to “corrupted” files and virtually start all over again! The problem I am having is twofold…..1. When I have upload a link or picture into my edit post I cannot get it to show up on the actual site. 2. After uploading 1 picture successfully, I get a “dismiss” in the upload bar and cannot upload anymore!
I have tried disabling the firewall I have…still nothing. I have tried “republishing” (changing the publishing info) in order to get the 1 picture I could up load into my site….still nothing!
HELP
