We recently added a CleanTalk to a wordpress site and are the majority of the Spam Firewall blocks so far have been from Facebook. We run ads on Facebook, so we expect traffic from there. I’m concerned about all of these blocks.

    Hello @amsweb1,

We’ve added the 57.141.5.24/32?network to our whitelist.

Please click the “Synchronization with cloud” button in the plugin settings to apply changes immediately.

    Does it work?

Thanks, but there’s another facebook IP block just behind it that has again intercepted what looks to be good traffic leads.

    IP Owner
    AS 32934 FACEBOOK,
    Network type:?good_bots
    57.141.5.16/32?

Is it possible to only utilize the firewall for non-us traffic? If not, I’ll need to disable firewall entirely, this is getting costly in terms of losing leads.

    Hello @amsweb1,

Thank you for your update. As you can see, the network type is identified as good_bots. It means that the network should not be blocked. Please confirm you clicked the “Synchronization with cloud” button in the plugin settings. Also, make sure that you are using the latest version of plugin 6.38:

Is it possible to only utilize the firewall for non-us traffic? – unfortunately, it’s not possible.

    Thank you.

I wasn’t sure why it was blocking a network tagged as good_bots. have synchronized this morning when I received your reply. I will continue to monitor.

Thank you for your feedback. Write back if anything goes wrong in the SFW logs.

I think you shoud let us to whitelist certain URL parameters like fbclid, today I found that many users are blocked due to “Spam browser” that try to enter from Facebook ads. Or at least whitelist facebook user-agent….

    Hello @pcbuildbg,

If visitors come to your site from Facebook, it doesn’t mean they will have Facebook user-agent.

We need to look at the requests from your site to understand what the reason is. Could you tell us the name of your site or its Service #? You can find Service # here: your CleanTalk dashboard → the “Settings” button under your site name.
