Lots of files in Cache > Object

  • Hi all, I have been given a site to work on, it has a lot of issues, I am tackling them one by one.
    Firstly, there is a LOT of files in the Cache / Object folder, can I safely delete these?
    I will be installing a plugin in to handle cache, but for now I need these files gone if it is safe to do so.

    Firstly, there is a LOT of files in the Cache / Object folder

    Please identify exactly which cache plugin you are using and then post in that plugin’s dedicated forum via its page in the Plugin Repository so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    Hi there, thanks for the reply, I am not using a cache plugin yet, they seem to have a W3 cache installed though?>
