• So I was excited to try out this plug-in. For a free version it has lots of options, even including payments. However, the Registration Form fields cannot be customized in any way. It has standard fields and that’s it, you can only select whether you want Address Details or not. You cannot add fields and the fields that are present cannot even be removed.

I’m sorry but I find customizing these a basic requirement for an event registration plug-in.

This was a total let-down for me. And maybe this should be made very clear on the description (the link ‘Manual Registration’ doesn’t really make it clear). I only found out after entering all kinds of details for events and venues.

    Hi,

Thank you for writing your review of the free (decaf) version of Event Espresso. You can customize the registration forms if you purchase a support license for the regular (caffeinated) version.

@builtbynorthby You seem to missing the point. That should be a BASIC feature for a REGISTRATION plug-in.

I think I know why you left it out: because most people would want that and thus upgrade. However, that makes this free version (despite it’s many features that no doubt lures people, including me) useless in most cases.

OK. Thank you for clarifying your point. Point taken.
