Hi, I have just 630 products in my woocommerce store but only 330 are showing in my fb shop. It took me days to set up the woocommerce/facebook link so I am reluctant to fiddle with it and not sure whether half my products is better than none.

These are the error messages I am seeing on facebook in catalogue manager under product data sources, overview.

    A product is missing a field: variant_value
    (330 products affected)
    A product is missing a field: google_product_category
    (326 products affected)
Field contains all upper-case letters: title
    (5 products affected)
Invalid Google product category provided: google_product_category
    (4 products affected)
Invalid Google product category provided: google_product_category
    (4 products affected)
    A product is missing a field: google_product_category
Without google_product_category information, your products may not appear the way you want them to in ads.

Can you tell me how I could fix this so that I can get all my products showing?
    THanks

Thanks so much for contacting us! I’d be happy to help.

As a first step, could you please confirm if any of these products are virtual products? Facebook’s commerce policies don’t support listing virtual products, so that might explain why you’re encountering issues with products of that type.

Could you please double-check to see if this applies to your products? If not, please let me know – I’d be happy to continue troubleshooting.

    Cheers,
    Steve

    Hi,
Yes, none of these are virtual products. Sorry, I thought I had edited the post to include this info, maybe I forgot to save the change!
    Thanks

    Hey @mjb696!

Thanks for letting us know. The errors that you’ve mentioned are warning that we would expect to see after an import of products using the feed source with Facebook. At the moment, the plugin doesn’t set a google_product_category, and the variant_label and variant_value warnings are due to Facebook attempting to read these from the products int he file, though these fields are only valid for Variable Products. Any simple product will show this error at the moment.

That said, these are only warnings, and therefore should not have an effect on if the product is being displayed on the shop page or not. You’ve mentioned that only half are being displayed on the shop, so the first thing we’d want to check is if they actually reached your Catalog.

To do this, could you please login to your Catalog Manager and let me know if you see any of the missing products you’d expect to see in the shop. Also looking at the product total would be a good indication here too, whether it shows around 330, or the full 660.

Could you send over a screenshot of the catalog manager with the products tab selected when you have a moment?

    Cheers!

    Simon.

Hi, it gives me this: Bourne Toys – WooCommerce Number of items 392 I’ll sort out a screen shot, thanks

I have a screen shot, but not sure how to send it!

    Hi @mjb696!

Thanks for confirming the 392 products are being shown. So there does seem to be a substantial number of products not yet making it to the catalog, yet the connection and sync to the catalog appears to be correct, given the naming convention you mentioned.

In order to send over the screenshots privately, and allow us to gather further information to progress, please could you raise a support request via our support form?

    Cheers!

    Simon.
